Makita UC017GZ01 Cordless Chain Saw Forget about mixing fuel and servicing. Just insert the battery and get to work. This model is equipped with a powerful brushless motor that delivers a maximum output of 1,600 W. The maximum chain speed is 25.5 m/s. Tool-less chain tensioning allows you to quickly tighten a slack chain or replace the guide bar and chain. The transparent 260 ml oil tank lets you check the oil level at a glance. The metal bucking spike ensures a straight cut, while the metal chain catcher protects you if the chain breaks or derails. The inertia-activated brake stops the chain in a fraction of a second. The chain saw runs on the XGT battery platform. This type of battery is compatible with over 260 Makita tools in the XGT range, meaning you can use it not only with garden equipment but also with Makita impact drivers and rotary hammers.
