The Makita DUM604SYX cordless shears are designed for trimming lawn edges in areas where a lawnmower or trimmer cannot reach (e.g., flower beds). The shears are powered by an 18‑volt LXT battery. Their distinguishing feature is a unique cutting system consisting of three blades: two moving blades and one guide blade. The cutting width is 16 cm. A base plate on the bottom allows adjustment of the cutting height from 1.5 to 2.5 cm and ensures even trimming whether used with the handle (optional) or without it. If needed, the grass blade can be replaced with a 20 cm shrub blade. The package includes an LXT battery, a DC18SD charger, a grass blade, a support, a shrub blade, and a branch collection container. The LXT battery is compatible with over 420 Makita tools from the LXT series, so it can be used not only with garden tools but also with Makita screwdrivers and rotary hammers.
