The Makita UM600DZ cordless shears are designed for trimming lawn edges in areas where a lawnmower or trimmer cannot reach (e.g., flower beds). The shears are powered by a 12‑volt CXT battery. Their distinguishing feature is a unique cutting system consisting of three blades: two moving blades and one guide blade. The cutting width is 16 cm. A base plate on the bottom allows adjustment of the cutting height from 1.5 to 2.5 cm and ensures even trimming whether used with the handle (optional) or without it. If needed, the grass blade can be replaced with a 20 cm shrub blade (sold separately). The package includes a grass blade and a support.
