The Makita UR013GZ08 is a powerful cordless brush cutter designed for clearing dense undergrowth. This model is equipped with a high-performance brushless motor that delivers 1500 W. The maximum cutting diameter with the trimmer head is 450 mm. A metal blade with a diameter of up to 255 mm can also be fitted if required. The guard works with both the trimmer head and the metal blade, and the protective skirt can be removed without any tools when changing accessories. The bike-style handle ensures high productivity and comfortable operation, even on slopes. The tool weighs just 7.2 kg including an 8 Ah battery. The updated control unit makes tool operation intuitive. The “High-torque” mode boosts torque to tackle overgrown, thick grass. The kit includes a double-shoulder harness that evenly distributes the weight of the tool and reduces operator fatigue. The brush cutter runs on the XGT battery platform. This battery type is compatible with more than 260 Makita tools in the XGT range, meaning it can be used not only with garden tools but also with Makita impact drivers and rotary hammers.
