The Makita DUR189Z Cordless Grass Trimmer is a lightweight yet powerful trimmer for tidying up grass in hard-to-reach spots or clearing dense undergrowth around your property. This model features a high-efficiency brushless motor delivering 240 W of power. It offers a maximum cutting diameter of 300 mm. The foldable bumper protects plants during operation. The ergonomically shaped shaft reduces strain on the lower back, and the length-adjustable shaft lets you set the optimal length for your height. Weighing just 3.3 kg with a 6 Ah battery, it is comfortable and easy to handle for any user, while its high power effortlessly tackles thick weeds and overgrowth to satisfy even the most demanding tasks. Three speed settings let you choose the optimal performance for the job. The tool is designed exclusively for use with a trimmer head (bump-feed). The package includes a single-shoulder harness and a semi-automatic trimmer head. Battery and charger are not included. This trimmer is part of the Makita LXT battery platform. The same LXT battery can power over 400 tools across the Makita LXT range, so you can use it not only with garden equipment but also with Makita drills, rotary hammers and more.
